Love Triad

The progression of the ideas of the ancient mysteries may be variously expressed, but since the time of Pythagoras the mysteries have been understood as best represented by the numbers of mathematics. The first mystery would thus be associated with the number One, which may be thought of as solitude, in the context of personal relationships. The mystery of the number Two is quite different, and comprises the familiar yang and yin of the cosmos: the pair bonding of two people. The number Three, however, is the number of Magic, whence ensues an endlessly unfolding panorama of potential possibilities.

Many people only know of triangles from the point of view of the problems associated with them. It is true that a triangle increases the potential for change, but that is the strength of its magic when it is done creatively and intentionally to form a stable complex relationship of three or more people. When it works, a successful triangle is incredibly powerful.
